Become a Member

Honorably discharged veterans and active-duty service members who have served at least one day of active federal service during a recognized war period are eligible. This includes veterans from World War I through the present Gulf War era.

Annual membership dues are $45 per year. This includes a subscription to the American Legion Magazine and access to member benefits programs.

Individuals with an Other Than Honorable discharge may still be eligible on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our Post Adjutant to discuss your specific situation.

Once we receive your application, we typically process it within 2-3 business days. You'll receive confirmation via email once your membership is approved.

Members enjoy advocacy for veterans' rights, access to member benefits programs, use of post facilities, community event invitations, and the fellowship of fellow veterans. We also offer scholarship programs and youth activities.

While the American Legion is primarily for veterans, family members can participate through Auxiliary units (for women) and Sons of The American Legion (for male descendants). Contact us for more information about family membership options.
